Role Overview:

The Head – DM Plant will oversee erection and commissioning activities for the Demineralization Plant in a thermal power project. This includes ensuring timely execution, adherence to quality standards, and coordination with stakeholders to ensure readiness of the water treatment facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the site activities related to erection and commissioning of the DM Plant.
• Review P&IDs, technical specifications, and vendor documentation.
• Monitor daily site progress and coordinate with EPC contractors, OEMs, and cross-functional teams.
• Ensure readiness of plant systems for commissioning, including flushing, hydro-testing, and pre-commissioning trials.
• Supervise water quality testing and calibration of instruments.
• Drive compliance to quality and safety standards.
• Identify and resolve technical and site execution issues.
• Manage documentation for system handover and performance guarantees.

Qualifications & Experience:

• B.E./B.Tech in Chemical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 12+ years of experience in erection & commissioning of DM Plants in power or industrial projects.
• Experience with water treatment systems including DM, RO, and ETP/STP preferred.
